If you would like to help, we encourage guests to purchase educational toys and school supplies in Jeddah (Toys R Us, Toyland, Toyland), which we will pass on to a local school. Shops on the island are limited but notebooks and pens can also be purchased locally.
Do not pick plants, collect seeds, or remove natural objects (shells, rocks, coral). Avoid touching or climbing on dragon blood trees and other endemic species. Observe wildlife from a distance — do not feed animals
Take all trash with you, including plastic bottles and food packaging. Avoid single-use plastics whenever possible.
Fresh water is limited on the island — use it sparingly. Do not wash with soap/shampoo in natural pools, wadis, or the sea. Choose biodegradable hygiene products
Do not touch, step on coral reefs or collect marine life. Use reef-safe sunscreen to prevent ocean pollution.
